Little Heresies
trade paperback / 6 x 9 / 120pp / Aug 2026
Little Heresies is a rebuke of fundamentalist religion. These poems reexamine the foundational texts that inform today’s major Abrahamic religions through a childhood rooted in the church and a grown, queer perspective—irreverently.

Wayfarer Books is based in the San Juan Mountains near Mesa Verde, on the lands of the Ancestral Pueblo, the Southern Ute, the Weenuchiu (the Mountain Ute), the Diné (Navajo), and the San Juan Southern Paiute Nations. We honor the generations of Indigenous communities who have stewarded these lands for thousands of years, and we acknowledge that this place was taken through colonization and displacement, and that Indigenous peoples remain present here, past and present. As one concrete act of accountability, we are launching 1% Given Back. Beginning now, we will give 1% of Wayfarer’s net profits directly to the Indigenous nations whose lands we are based on, in support of sovereignty, Indigenous futures, and wealth redistribution. We do this in the belief that acknowledgment should move beyond words and into tangible practice.
